During times of financial crisis, government shutdowns, natural disasters, etc., Israelites are one of the groups that takes the biggest loses and ultimately suffers the most, which has the potential to cause irreparable damage to an already struggling family. It is with this understanding that we had a shared moment of realization that broke our hearts: the existing groups just weren&#8217;t cutting it. We realized then that individual acts of kindness, while good, could never be enough to fix a problem this big. Our initial vision wasn&#8217;t about building an institution; it was about creating a family, a home where we could bring people together, pool what little we had, and pour all of our specialized knowledge into solving this specific, heartbreaking problem more effectively than any of us could have ever done alone.
